Long Crochet Faux Locs Kinky

Long crochet faux locs hair that look and feel natural. Your typical local beauty supply locs aren’t cutting it? Well you have come to the right place. We designed these locs to mimic textured hair and give off the look of real locs. These crochet faux locs are low maintenance and reusable!

The texture of these locs are kinky and not silky. The locs itself are solid but soft. They are perfect to use to create the long soft locs look. Which gives it a beautiful flow as they are not stiff. The hair length itself varys in between  23″ – 24″, due to their unique wave pattern. Alternatively you can stretch them with a low heat setting using a blow dryer to get a longer length. When blow drying these locs, make sure it is on a low heat setting to prevent damage to the synthetic hair fibers.

Hair Care

We recommend that you use a silk/ satin bonnet, scarf or pillowcase at night. This helps you maintain the crochet faux locs at night, as silk or satin does not snag hair which reduces friction.

This hair can be washed but we recommend washing it sparingly. The instruction for washing these locs can be found at the back of the hair tag. You can still keep your scalp clean and wash it as often as you need by focusing on shampooing and conditioning your scalp. On the days that you would rather not get the hair wet use a large shower cap.

Install Method

You can install it via the individual crochet method, traditional cornrow method or even a combination of both. The traditional cornrow method involves having cornrows and attaching the hair using the crochet latch hook. While the individual method of attaching the crochet loc hair makes them look like single individual locs.

Recommended Amount of Packs

Full head of individuals – 3 to 4 packs

Partial individuals with cornrows – 4 to 5 packs

Full head of cornrows – 5 packs

Please note that that if you are double wrapping the base with extra faux locs, you will need some extra locs. Or alternatively 1 pack of our distressed locs hair or 1 pack of passion twist water wave hair.
